For those who knew her only superficially, Yong Bailey may have appeared to possess an impenetrable exterior. However, those fortunate enough to delve deeper discovered a heart of extraordinary softness and kindness, a true wellspring of compassion that touched countless lives.

Yong Bailey was not just a mother; she was a cherished best friend, a confidante who possessed an uncanny understanding of life's challenges. She was the one who knew, without judgment, the paths her children might wander down, and she stood steadfastly by their side, offering unwavering support and guidance to navigate through any storm. Her belief in her children was a constant source of strength, and her attempts to guide and influence made a difference in most of their lives and helped shape them into the individuals they are today.

A dedicated wife, Yong shared over 60 beautiful years with her beloved husband, the late Van Bailey. Theirs was a partnership built on her love and unwavering devotion, a testament to her enduring power of commitment.

Her strength was not just a facade; it was a core part of her being. She was brave and fiercely believed in standing up for what was right. A cherished memory shared by her children recalls a moment in their childhood when she fearlessly confronted a bully, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to justice and the well-being of those she loved.
