Zella Ruth Boyd

Zella Ruth Boyd, 85, of Montgomery, AL died on Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Mrs. Boyd was formerly of Ocean Springs, MS, a member of Christus Victor Lutheran Church in Ocean Springs and the VFW Post #5699 Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Boyd is preceded in death by her husband, Senior Master Sergeant (Retired) Robert M. Boyd, USAF, and parents. She is survived by her daughters, Vera Hergenroeder of Montgomery, AL; Luva Ferrill of Gautier, MS; son, Terry Boyd, also of Gautier; six grandchildren, Melinda Palomaria and Robert Hergenroeder; George and Tabitha Ferrill; Terry Boyd II and Leslie White; seven great-grandchildren, Ashleigh, Madison and Reagan Palomaria; Kenneth and Jonathan Hergenroeder; Samantha and Sydney White. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to: Christus Victor Lutheran Church, 2755 Bienville Blvd, Ocean Springs, MS, 39564.
